Cuvee at Chatham Inn is a small restaurant in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We serve a five course tasting menu and have a small team of 5 cooks. We are striving to push the quality of our cuisine with a new Chef and recent renovation.
We are proud to be one of the 580 members of Relais & Châteaux.
AS A CAPTAIN
- You are responsible for the smooth running of the service and ensure a quality welcome and personalized service to our customers.
- You will propose well-balanced food and wine pairings, and provide relevant advice to our customers.
- You will have a thorough knowledge of the wine list in order to meet the expectations of our customers.
- Apply the procedures and service standards of the establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train service staff.
- Knowledge of menu ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation techniques.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Passion for fine dining and exceptional customer service.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tables and priorities.
- Ideally from hotel training you have a significant experience of at least X years in a position and similar establishment.
- You have an excellent presentation and a good relationship. You are motivated, have a keen sense of organization and teamwork.
- Fluency in English is recommended.
